Forum FAQs
Read this before posting. This contains rules for future site use.
These rules are to be followed at all times, breaking these rules may result in a warning or a ban. You will only get 2 warnings for offenses before you are banned, it is up to staff wether or not user actions equal a warning or ban depending on the particular offence. These rules will and can be updated at any time.
THESE RULES APPLY TO VISITOR MESSAGES ALSO
Instant Ban
Things that we will instantly ban you for (we can take a joke but if it is obviously not a joke*):
Advertising porn or providing links to porn sites
Other Forum Rules
1. Just use common sense and be nice to each other.
2. No flame wars/flaming. Mod bashing is also considered flaming.
3. We are not going to restrict swearing but please use it sparingly if at all. Swearing can be used but if it is for flaming or in excess it will be deleted.
4. No posting of real life porn/porn links.
5. Try not to double post.
6. Threads close at 100 posts. Mods will lock a thread that reaches this limit and you may start a new thread (v2 or whatever).
7. Be sensible about sigs and avs. The current allowed sig dimensions for regular users is roughly 550px x 600px this includes text and images. Do not use giant gifs etc to keep load times down. Do not use one giant picture that takes up this entire space.
8. Keep threads on topic or posts will be deleted.
9. Try to not post if all you have to say is lol, we aren't gonna come down uber hard on spam but we do have server limits. Just be sensible about spam and keep on topic. Let's define what we consider spam so there are no misunderstandings.
Spam is not posting a lot, posting a lot is welcome if it is on topic and not an obvious attempt at raising post count. Posting off topic and obvious attempts at trying to raise post count are spam.
10. No duplicate accounts.
11. No advertising threads unless previously given the ok by Rayne.
12. Avoid harsh character bashing, it offends people and can easily lead to flame wars. If you harshly character bash we may edit your post or delete it.
13. When using tags please use sensible words. It is a search function not a spam/joke function
14. If you post fan art, fan fic or art of any kind please credit the artist. If we have to warn you for this more than once you may be banned.
15. Don't encourage trolls, if you rep, reply to or encourage trolls in any way you may be treated similar to the troll.
16. If you don't like something a mod does do not start a flame war with them, pm them or an admin to sort it out.
17. Unless you have a really good reason we will not do name changes so pick carefully. This applies to mods also.
Have fun!

Re: Forum FAQs
To those who might ask how things work out in this forum, here are some pointers.
Viewing a topic
When viewing a topic, simply select the topic you want to go in.
Replying to a topic
If you want to reply to a posted topic, or create a new thread (topic), simply click the "Post Reply" button found at the bottom of the page. You can see it next to the "New Thread" selection key.
You can quote the messages of other users, delete your post or edit it by using the icons at the topmost part of your post.
Avatars
Avatars are the pictures that appear as you every time you post. There are restrictions on the avatars, however, since the bandwidth might be exceeded.

As you can observe, there are ranks/level-ups every time you attain a certain number of posts.
So, each post is a win.

[There shall be additional ranks as the time passes when we have exceeded Pobie level. ]
Images and File Sharing
Since images are a very essential part of our survival, and posting pics are a need for us here, this is how you post a pic in your reply.
You can either link to another site by clicking the Link tool when writing your reply. You see the toolbar above your writing box. It's the one that looks like a small chain. Click it and paste the link of the image/anything on the first box and you can rename and label it. Example:
Yahoo Groups Link (this will link you to the yahoo groups)
If you want the picture/file to be seen in your post, just click the image tool in the toolbar. Or you can make it like this:
Sample:
You can also upload a file directly from your PC by clicking the "Host an Image" button.
Here you will have an option to take the picture from the web or simply from your computer. You can also choose to resize it.
When the file is from the computer, you can host it, then copy the link from the "Images box" then paste it in your message
Like this:
The same goes for tables, videos and other types of files. What's amazing is that, there is no limit in the file size! Upload as much as you want!
For more questions, just post here in the Forum FAQ. I'll be happy to help!

Posting..
Hey guys! Just to clear up the confusion.
Whenever you click on a topic (thread) example:
Math 17.
And you want to post a topic, click the second post reply icon, not the first one.
Kasi pag dun kayo sa taas, sa general section sya mag-aappear, at hindi dun sa Math 17, kung san gusto nyo mag-post. Follow my example na lang.

Re: Forum FAQs
Just a quick notification
Since a user asked me this. No, I nor the forum moderators can't view your passwords. We can change it however, along with your user names if you ask us to. The only thing that an administrator can view is your e-mail address and IP Addresses. Nothing more. And we ensure you that nothing will be used against you nor your private information be given out (the same goes for you GB. )

Re: Forum FAQs
Color Schematics.
So... there are three main colors of users here in the forum.
Administrator
Moderator
User
You can see the users online/lurking at the bottom page of the screen. Note that the admin or mods can either switch to "lurk" mode/invisible mode or appear offline. So, if you see a Hidden person there, it's us.

Reputation Rules
You might wonder what the "Thanks" button next to a user's post edit options is.
The Thanks button only appears in other users post (not your own) since you can't rep/thank yourself. You can add to his/her reputation by clicking the "Thanks" button. This serves as a level-up standing for the user as well, and you can help him/her increase rep in the forum. These are like points you give away whenever you agree/appreciated/liked something they posted.
Thanks button = 3 rep points
Positive rep button = 1 rep point
Negative rep button = -1 rep point
Neg reps are usually done if you don't like a person's post.
The users who give out reps can't be seen by the user whom you give them to.
